In January 2010 there was a major earthquake in Haiti.  The damage to the city of Port-au-Prince was catastrophic.

People's homes were destroyed and large areas of the city had to be abandoned.  The people picked up what they could carry and started walking.  Exhausted they reached some barren hills and started piecing together whatever bits of shelters they could manage with the things they found.

There was nothing for them, no water, no power, no secure shelter, no roads and no food. Just the wild hills and people struggling to figure out what to do next.  What they put together has become known as St Christophe, and they are still struggling to find a a way to make it work.

Ignite Your Faith Ministries is here to help the people get back on their feet, show them the love of God and to make disciples that make disciples.  We do this by helping people with very basic and practical needs and giving them a place to come together to worship, learn and to grow.
